ROBOTIC SURGERY

The da Vinci surgical system gives your surgeon an advanced set of instruments to use in performing robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery. The term “robotic” often misleads people. Robots don’t perform surgery. Your surgeon performs surgery with da Vinci by using instruments that he or she guides via a console.

The da Vinci system translates your surgeon’s hand movements at the console in real time, bending and rotating the instruments while performing the procedure. The tiny wristed instruments move like a human hand, but with a greater range of motion. The da Vinci vision system also delivers highly magnified, 3D high-definition views of the surgical area. The instrument size makes it possible for surgeons to operate through one or a few small incisions. During a Robotic-assisted procedure, your surgeon uses master controls to manipulate the instruments, and the instruments translate your surgeon's movements into precise movements inside your body. Your surgeon is in control the whole time; the surgical system responds to the direction he provides.

VAGINAL REJUVENATION

Women do not want to feel as though they have lost control of their body - especially when it affects parts of their life. THERMIva is a quick, non-invasive, non-ablative treatment delivering physician-controlled radiofrequency energy using a thoughtfully designed hand piece to gently heat tissue.

Excessive stretching of the vaginal muscles is a common occurrence after vaginal birth or simply due to aging. Damage can diminish sensation during sexual activity, reduce satisfaction, and change the relationship between partners. Laxity of the skin is caused by numerous factors and no area is immune to this natural decline.

Why THERMIva radiofrequency? THERMIva treatments use radiofrequency energy to gently heat internal and/or external tissue to rejuvenate collagen, with minimal to no discomfort and no downtime.

Additional information on how it works, indication and safety information can be found at THERMIva or by clicking the link below or watch one of the videos.
